The face-to-face training day runs for 6 hours, typically 9:00am–3:00pm. You receive your same-day Statement of Attainment and physical White Card on successful completion.

Anyone entering or working on a construction site in WA – labourers, apprentices, tradies (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, roofers), site supervisors, surveyors, delivery drivers and site visitors. The requirement applies to all WA construction sites under the WHS Act 2012 (WA).
CPCWHS1001 is the current nationally recognised unit code for the White Card course (introduced in 2020). CPCCWHS1001 is the older superseded code. SafeWork WA accepts the current CPCWHS1001 unit, which is what Skills Training College delivers.
For your WA White Card course, wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and either a t-shirt or a long-sleeve shirt. A hard hat may be provided for the practical demonstration. These items form part of the personal protective equipment (PPE) used during general construction induction training.

If your White Card was issued by Skills Training College, contact us on (08) 8317 5113 to request a replacement. We can usually re-issue your card from our records. If your card was issued by another RTO that no longer trades, you may need to re-sit the course – contact SafeWork WA for guidance.
