Students may not be eligible to apply for Certificate II in Security Operations if they have been convicted of a disqualifying offence in the last 10 years or are a “close associate” of criminals. Our Certificate II in Security Operations uses a blended delivery method. We combine independent, self-paced online learning with in-person, practical training. To work effectively, we strongly recommend completing the online portion first to prepare for your face-to-face training. Practical classes run over fulltime hours, beginning 9am and continuing until 5pm each weekday over five days, with additional self-paced exams for you to complete at home.
If students have a first aid certificate they have completed prior to this course and they can provide evidence, they will have one fewer days in-person classes needed to attend.

The fee for domestic students is a single upfront payment of $599 for the entire course, including a $100 non refundable enrolment fee.

You will receive a renew reminder notice in the mail approximately eight weeks before your licence is set to expire.
