  • Broken bones
  • Dislocations, fractures, sprains and strains

Upon your successful completion, you will be awarded a nationally recognised first aid certificate.

WHO NEEDS A FIRST AID COURSE?

Everyone should take a first aid course – by learning first aid, you can make a significant difference when it truly matters. Emergencies can happen anywhere and at any time, be it in the workplace, on the street, or anywhere else. Knowing first aid will give you the ability to intervene and provide assistance during times of crisis.

First aid is crucial for every workplace, not just for healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses or paramedics. Emergencies can happen anywhere, whether it’s at the office, school or even at home. Possessing a first aid certificate can be beneficial for professionals in any field.

If you have already completed a first aid course consider furthering your studies to ensure your skills are at their peak and that you can truly step into any first aid situation. Our other specialties include our advanced first aid course and child first aid courses.

CPR Course Welshpool

The official name for our CPR course is “HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.” This course teaches students how to recognise when a cardiac emergency is occurring, as well as the steps to intervene safely.

CPR is one aspect of performing first aid, but it is its own separate discipline. The more specific focus of a CPR course is appropriate for anyone who already knows first aid but does not know CPR, or who does not have time for a full first aid course but still wants to be able to learn.

When you take our course you’ll learn the steps to perform CPR, mnemonic devices to ensure you remember the steps of CPR for years after completing your course and the differences in performing CPR for adults and children. After your 90-minute face-to-face training course, you’ll be rewarded with a statement of attainment that is nationally recognised, proving your new skills.

Skills Training College’s Welshpool CPR courses are conducted from our training venue at 37 Murray Road South. We also offer training from our other locations in Armadale, Fremantle, Gosnells, Innaloo, Joondalup, Midland, Osborne Park, Perth, Rockingham and Subiaco. Our first aid courses are available for $39 per person.

Welshpool CPR Refresher Course

The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) recommends that CPR training is refreshed or retaken by those in the relevant fields every twelve months to ensure that the critical skills remain reflexive. If you are in an emergency where CPR is required, you don’t want to struggle, your skills must be instinctive.

A CPR refresher course is the same as a regular CPR course in every regard. Courses last for 90 minutes, cost $39 per person and are conducted from our training room at 37 Murray Road South.

Enrolment & Eligibility
