CPR Course Frankston

The official designator for a CPR course is HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. This course focuses on teaching participants to recognise sudden cardiac emergencies and follow the correct procedures for safe intervention.

While CPR is a component of first aid, it is also a specialised skill in its own right. This course is specifically designed for individuals who are familiar with general first aid but lack CPR training, or for those who may not have the time for a comprehensive first aid course but still want to be effective in emergency situations.

In the STC CPR course in Frankston, students will learn the necessary steps for performing CPR, including mnemonic techniques to help retain this knowledge long after completion and how CPR techniques differ between adults and children. Completing this 90-minute in-person training results in a nationally recognised statement of attainment, affirming your skills and knowledge in this critical area.

Our Frankston CPR courses, held at our training venue at Ebdale Community Hub, are designed to be accessible to all. We also offer CPR training at nearby Victoria venues, including our Melbourne CBD and Mount Waverley locations. Enrol today for just $39 per person and gain the valuable skills to potentially save lives!

Enrolment & Eligibility

You don’t need any prior academic or professional qualifications to sign up for a Skills Training College First Aid or CPR course in Frankston. However, all students are expected to meet the following requirements:

  • Basic written and verbal English skills are needed to engage with the course materials and complete the training and assessment activities.
  • All students must be 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • Students require a Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number. If you’ve studied before, you may already have one, which you can find by searching online.
  • Basic levels of fitness and physical ability to perform practical tasks such as CPR.

FRANKSTON CPR Refresher Course

The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) states that CPR training must be renewed annually to ensure these essential skills remain valid. Most workplaces will also require you to comply with these guidelines and take regular CPR training to adhere to their first aid compliance.

These skills must be automatic in emergencies requiring CPR, eliminating the need to pause and recall procedures. CPR refresher training ensures these skills become second nature, so you can always be prepared to save a life if the situation arises.

A CPR refresher course is identical to a regular CPR course in every aspect. It is 90 minutes long, costs $39 per person, and is held at our Frankston training venue at 20 Ebdale Street.
