HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is perfect for anyone looking to learn the skills required to respond to emergencies, injuries, and life-threatening situations.
In this first aid course, you’ll learn various emergency first aid response skills such as cleaning and dressing wounds, proper Epi-Pen usage, the importance of the recovery position, basic emergency life support and how to effectively describe an emergency over the phone to assist emergency responders.

Practical examinations are performed to assess first-aid training. After completing your face-to-face training, you will be evaluated on your competence and knowledge of first-aid procedures, as well as your ability to respond effectively in a realistic first-aid scenario. There may also be a written assessment.
The CPR assessment is based purely on your ability to do CPR under supervision.
