The training will conclude with assessment activities. Once you complete the course, you’ll receive a nationally recognised first aid certificate.

WHO NEEDS A FIRST AID COURSE?

Everyone should take a first aid course to welcome the ability to make an impact when it truly counts because emergencies can happen anywhere and at any time, whether it’s at work, on the street or elsewhere. Knowing first aid empowers you to intervene and provide assistance during critical situations.

First aid is crucial in every workplace. It’s not only for medical professionals like doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare workers. First aid emergencies can happen anywhere, whether it’s in the office, at schools, or even at home. First aid certificates can be beneficial to anyone, regardless of their profession.

It is crucial to know first aid and CPR. Medical emergencies can happen unexpectedly, and without these important and practical skills, you won’t be able to assist. During such situations, there is no time to search for instructions on how to perform first aid. You must already be familiar with it, and the only way to acquire this knowledge is by enrolling in a course.

If you have finished a first aid course, think about pursuing additional studies to enhance your skills and be fully prepared for any first aid situation. We also offer advanced first aid courses and child first aid courses as part of our other specialties.

CPR Course Epping

The CPR course is officially known as HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Its purpose is to educate students on identifying cardiac emergencies and taking appropriate intervention measures.

CPR is a crucial part of providing initial medical assistance, but it has its own specific rules and procedures. The main purpose of a CPR course is to teach individuals who are already familiar with first aid but lack knowledge of CPR, or those who are unable to attend a complete first aid course due to time constraints. Despite their busy schedules, these individuals still wish to be prepared to help in case of an emergency.

When you enrol in a CPR course, you will be taught the necessary steps to perform CPR. You will also learn mnemonic devices to help you remember these steps even after completing the course. Additionally, you will be taught the distinctions between performing CPR on adults and children. Upon completion of the 90-minute in-person training, you will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment as proof of your newly acquired skills and knowledge.

Skills Training College’s Epping CPR courses are conducted from our training venue at the Boronia Grove Community Centre, located on
40 Victoria Street in Epping.
