Due to the physical nature of manual handling, students must have a basic level of fitness and wear enclosed footwear & casual clothing for in-person training sessions.
USI, Age & Literacy Requirements
A valid Unique Student Identified (USI) number is required for enrolment in this course. Students must be at least 14 years old. Students under 18 must bring a completed Parental Consent Form to class. Basic English literacy is needed to understand safety guidelines and instructions. The Construction & Trades HLTWHS005 Conduct Manual Tasks Safely course combines in-person practical training with self-paced online learning. We recommend that students complete the online self-guided portion first, as this will help you better understand the topics discussed during their in-person training session.
