HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
Our First Aid course, which includes CPR, is $95 per person, with a minimum of 7 participants.
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is delivered as a workplace group training course and recognised across all states and territories, serving as the foundational certification for Workplace First Aid compliance.
This qualification equips individuals with vital skills and knowledge to administer first aid and emergency care, expertly managing casualties and collaborating effectively with fellow first aid providers until additional medical assistance arrives.
This course encompasses online learning, with self paced reading and a quiz, and a three-hour face-to-face training session.
Total length: approx. 5.5 Hours
Please note: Prior to attending the first aid training, mandatory reading of the first aid learner guide must be completed. The hours required to complete this depend on the learner’s knowledge, experience, and skill.
Your first aid certificate will include the following accredited units of competency:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
In line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, HLTAID011 should be updated every 3 years and HLTAID009 every 12 months.
Workplace training can be conducted onsite or at a Skills Training College venue near you.
Please note: We require a minimum enrolment of 7 students. If there are fewer than 7, a minimum day rate of $650 applies.
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Our CPR course is $48 per person, with a minimum of 10 participants.
This concise life-saving course emphasizes CPR essentials, including the DRSABCD protocol and safe defibrillation using an AED.
It’s conducted on-site as group training, aligning with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This course encompasses online learning, with self paced reading and a quiz, and a one and a half-hour face-to-face training session
Total length: approx. 2 Hours.
After successfully finishing the course, you’ll be awarded a certificate for HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
It’s advised by Safe Work Australia to renew this certification annually.
Workplace training can be conducted onsite or at a Skills Training College venue near you.
Enroll 10 to 24 participants for a cost of $48 per person.
If there are fewer than 10 participants, a minimum day rate of $480 still applies.
HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
Our Provide First Aid in an Education or Care setting course, which includes CPR, is $110 per person, with a minimum of 7 participants.
Skills Training College offers a specialised on-site course designed for childcare centers, schools, and educational institutions.
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid covers all of HLTAID011’s content, including infant and child ailments like febrile convulsions, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.
Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approves this industry-specific course for education and care settings. It may also fulfill requirements for first aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis training under the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
This course encompasses online learning, with self-paced reading and a quiz, and a three-and-a-half-hour face-to-face training session
Total length: approx. 6.5 Hours.
Please note: Prior to attending the first aid training, we have a mandatory reading of the first aid learner guide. Time required to complete this will depend on the learner’s knowledge, experience, and skill.
Your certificate will include the following accredited units of competency:

CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
Skills Training College, an accredited training organisation (RTO), provides a SafeWork approved white card courses tailored for group training sessions at workplaces and onsite.
Our seasoned trainers guide participants, ensuring they gain the essential knowledge, skills, and personal awareness necessary for safe work in construction, including access to operational construction zones and sites where construction activities are present.
Currently only available in South Australia. Our White Card course is $125 per person (minimum 10).
Our program is streamlined for a single 6-hour in-person class, encompassing all knowledge, practical training, and assessments in one place.
Please note: Prior to attending the first aid training, we have a mandatory reading of the first aid learner guide. The time required to complete this depends on the learner’s knowledge, experience, and skill.
All students enrolling in a white card course must meet the following conditions:
- Reside in the state of South Australia
- Students must be 16 years old or older. (Please note: Students under 18 will be required to complete and bring a Parental Consent Form to class)
- Be capable of effective verbal communication by asking questions to clarify instructions and pointing out a construction problem or hazard
- Possess basic English literacy skills to read and follow simple pictorial safety instructions and instructions written in English
- Possess basic numeracy skills
- Provide vaild identification as per the Evidence of Identity Requirements
- Hold a Unique Student Identifier number (USI). (For more information visit https://www.usi.gov.au)
On the day of their training course, students must allow for a photo to be taken of themselves and used on their white card which includes their head, neck, and shoulders.
Once you have successfully completed this WHS induction course you will receive a statement of attainment:
- CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
- A statement of training certificate (valid for 60 days allowing students to begin work on a construction site immediately).
- A white card issued and posted by SafeWork.

HLTWHS005 - Conduct Manual Tasks Safely & Manual Handling Refresher
This course is specifically intended for nurses, health workers, support workers, NDIS providers, aged care workers working in hospitals and residential care settings.
It is designed in accordance with the relevant state/territory legislation, including the hazardous manual tasks code of practice.
Training and assessment are delivered Face to Face within just 4 hours.
Please note: Prior to attending the face-to-face training and assessment, you will be required to complete the pre-course reading and the online quiz based on that content.
This must be completed and digitally submitted before you attend the face-to-face session.
All participants will be assessed through a combination of the following assessment methods:
- Practical Demonstrations: Simulated scenarios/Roleplaying
- Project (Risk Assessment)
- Knowledge Assessment
Your certificate will include the following accredited units of competency:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
FirstAidPro aims to issue statements digitally, via email on the day that the training is successfully completed, subject to certain conditions including the following:
- Students must be 14 years old or older. (Please note: Students under 18 will be required to complete and bring a Parental Consent Form to class)
- Possess a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number
- Due to the nature of manual handling all students must possess a basic level of physical fitness, and have enclosed footwear and casual clothes to wear to their in-person training session.
- Students must also possess a basic level of English literacy to read and comprehend simple safety guidelines and instructions.

Security Course
CPP20218 Certificate II in Security operations
The Skills Training College security course is the requisite qualification for obtaining a security license, a fundamental requirement for aspiring security professionals.
Our tailored corporate security training suits businesses seeking to enhance their security staff’s skills.
This comprehensive program equips participants with the knowledge and expertise to ensure the safety of venues, assets, individuals, and themselves.
Upon course completion, graduates are prepared to handle security risks as security officers, guards, crowd controllers, and more, expanding on their job effectiveness.
Only available as corporate training in South Australia. Our Security course is $599 per person (minimum 10).
Training and assessment are delivered Face to Face over a 1 week period.

Participants who successfully complete this course will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for:
- CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
There are minimum security training requirements which must be met to enrol, and it is a student’s own responsibility to ensure they meet them. All students must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Have a basic level of physical fitness.
- Possess adequate written and verbal English skills.
- Have competent literacy and numeracy skills.

RSA - Provide responsible service of alcohol
RSA, or Responsible Service of Alcohol, ensures safe alcohol provision. It’s crucial for all Australian hospitality roles, aligning with the National alcohol strategy.
This Nationally Recognised SITHFAB021 course is state-specific, addressing local alcohol regulations.
Our exceptional quality RSA course focuses on ensuring that your hospitality staff will understand their legal requirements for duty of care.
Emphasising the prevention of reckless drinking and disorderly conduct, it covers alcohol’s effects, “Standard Drink” comprehension, and safe refusal techniques.
Skills Training College’s Provide responsible service of alcohol course is provided as a single, face-to-face seminar over the course of 4 hours. (No online available)
The course is specifically set up to cover the specific regulations for your state. It will equip you with all the skills and learning you need to provide alcohol to patrons in a professional context.

SITHFAB021 – Provide responsible service of alcohol
Workplace RSA training is only available in South Australia. Our RSA course is $99 per person (minimum 8) and can be conducted onsite or at a Skills Training College venue in South Australia.
Please note: A minimum number of 8 participants are required for group training.

What group training courses are available?
A security guard’s primary role is safeguarding their employer or property. They conduct surveillance to detect any inappropriate, hazardous, or criminal activities and take action to mitigate identified threats.
Are there after-hours and rescheduling fees for these courses?
Yes, for bookings made after 5:00pm and on weekends, a 10% surcharge applies. Rescheduling fees vary depending on the notice period. For changes made within 24 hours or less, 50% of the minimum day rate is charged. For changes made within two weeks or less, 15% of the minimum day rate is charged.
Is there a minimum number of participants required for group training?
For some courses there is a minimum number of participants required to book group training or onsite group training.
Is Skills Training College College a registered training college?
Yes, Skills Training College is a registered training college and CRICOS approved trainig provider.
How long will it take to get my staff first aid or safety compliant at my workplace?
With Skills Training College, after the successful completion of the course, your staff will receive their certificate on the same day (subject to conditions).
Will my healthcare business / organisation have to supply equipment in order for FirstAidPro to conduct onsite Manual Handling Training?
Yes, in order for Skills Training College to deliver workplace training in HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely, your healthcare workplace will need to supply the following equipment:
- Adjustable High-low bed
- Patient Lifter
- Patient Sling or full sling
- Shower Chair or wheelchair
- Four-wheel walker

No, Skills Training College does not charge upfront. You will be invoiced after course delivery.
